What is an Authorised Representative (AR)?
An authorised representative verifies your product’s compliance with CE marking regulations, registers as your official EU point of contact, and cooperates with the authorities regarding product compliance.
Each product must have the information of the single point of contact in the EU (may be on the product, packaging, instructions…).
As your AR, you can legally use our address to fulfill your obligations.
Who needs an authorized representative?
Non-European companies that intend to sell their products in the European Union (EU).
- Directly
- E-commerce (like Amazon, etc)
- Through an enforcement service provider.
What kind of products are covered?
Products that require CE marking, such as: electronics, toys, machines or construction products, require an authorized dealer. A detailed list of products and regulations that require an AR can be found here.
